I Read Over 200 Children’s Books in 2025!
2025 is the year I read more children’s book now as an adult than I ever did as a child. Their is something magical about reading a book with beautiful illustrations intertwined into a short story that you know is intended specifically for a young audience. All the books I read took me back to my youth even though I wasn’t book into reading children’s books as a child. Sure, I went to story time and read a few, but not to the extent of books I read this year. As much as I read lots and lots of children’s books this year, I certainly did not neglect reading my go to adult non-fiction books. I ended the year with a total of 60 books read. I even discovered a new genre of literature I loved this year, graphic novels! Anyways, the picture books listed below are some of my favorite children’s picture books I read this year. These are the children’s books that I could read year after year.
