A Quick Trip to the Orlando Public Library
I love visiting Orlando, Florida. This time I was determined to get my own library card from the Orlando Public Library. Sure enough, the kind librarian gave me a souvenir card to add to my collection! I would’ve liked to have spent more time there exploring, but it was quickly approaching closing time and we had to make it to the theater to see Alicia Keyes’ Hells Kitchen musical next door. What I admire most about this library is the amount of LEGO programs they offer to patrons. As a LEGO enthusiast, I think this a wonderful offering for both children and adults alike. Some of these programs and offerings have inspired me and given me valuable ideas that might be helpful in my profession. Here are some of the pictures from my quick trip! Maybe on my next visit to Orlando I can explore more of the building!
LEGOs galore featuring LEGO builds, displays of books, and even a LEGOPALOOZA 2026 program!
My very own Orlando Public Library card souvenir!
Loved the children’s area including the creative book displays and the book fairy forest. Truly a child at heart!
